Ionawr 1af - Diwrnod braf ond oer yn y bore cyn bwrw eira yn ystod y prynhawn. Carreg-y-Defaid, 2-1-10 7ed - Parhau mae'r rhew a'r eira. Roedd rhew i'w weld yn harbwr Pwllheli. Rhew / Ice, Pwllheli 8ed - Gwelwyd 20 sglefren fôr (Rhizostoma octopus) wedi rhewi ar y traeth rhwng Abersoch a Llanbedrog. 10ed - Gwelwyd 51 sglefren fôr (Rhizostoma octopus) wedi rhewi ar y traeth rhwng Abersoch a Llanbedrog. 22ain - Gwelwyd bysgodyn clicied (Balistes carolinensis) wedi ei olchi ar y lan ar draeth Porth Neigwl. 30ain - Parhau mae'r rhwydo ar draethau Llŷn. January 1st - A sunny but cold morning with snow showers during the afternoon. Y Ddelw / Statue, 2-1-10 7th - The ice and snow continues. Ice could be seen in Pwllheli Harbour. (Rhizostoma octopus) 8th - One of the 20 frozen jellyfish (Rhizostoma octopus) seen on the beach between Abersoch and Llanbedrog. 10th - 51 frozen jellyfish (Rhizostoma octopus) were seen on the beach between Abersoch and Llanbedrog. 22nd - A trigger fish (Balistes carolinensis) was seen washed up on the beach at Hell's Mouth. 30th - Beach netting continues on the beaches of Llŷn. Chwefror Bu tirlithriad yng nghefn y cytiau ar draeth Nefyn. Digwyddir tirlithriadau yn aml ar arfordir Llŷn yn ystod y gaeaf wrth i ddŵr o'r tir lifo rhwng y creigiau a'r clai a'r mwd sydd yn eu gorchuddio neu rhwg dau wahanol glai. Parhau yn oer mae'r tywydd ac mae'r tir yn llwm. |
Tirlithriad - Nefyn - Landslide Ci môr mawr / Greater spotted dogfish |
February A landslide occurred behind the huts on the beach at Nefyn. Landslides are common on the coast of Llŷn during the winter as water off the land runs between the rocks and the mud and clay that cover them or between different types of clay. The cold weather continues and the land is bare with no vegetation growth.

Mawrth 17eg - Cyfanswm o 121 sglefren fôr casgen (Rhizostoma octopus) wedi eu golchi i'r lan ar draeth Llanbedrog. 30ain - Llanw uchel a glaw trwm drwy'r nos wedi codi lefel y dŵr yn harbwr Abersoch. 31ain - Hanner nos heno daeth diwedd ar gyfundrefn rheoli pysgodfeydd Cymru wedi 110 o flynyddoedd. Diddymid Pwyllgor Pysgodfeydd Môr Gogledd Cymru a Gogledd Lloegr.

Elyrch / Swans, Foxhole, Llanbedrog (Rhizostoma octopus) Llanw uchel - Abersoch - Spring tide

March 17th - A total of 121 barrel jellyfish (Rhizostoma octopus) were seen washed up on the shore at Llanbedrog. 30th - The spring tide and heavy rain the previous night raised the water level in the harbour at Abersoch. 31st - As of midnight tonight the regime that managed the fisheries of Wales for 120 years came to an end with the dissolution of the North Western & North Wales Sea Fisheries Committee. |

April 9th - Sand martins have arrived at Dinas Dinlle. |
Mai 3ydd - Eira ar Yr Wyddfa y bore yma. Mae "Princess Matilda" bad yr actor Timothy Spall, ym Mhwllheli yn aros i'r tywydd wella cyn bwrw ymlaen â'r daith o amgylch Prydain. Gwelais y wennoliaid cyntaf elenni ger Trefor. |

May 3rd - Snow on Snowdon this morning. "Princess Matilda," the actor Timothy Spall's barge is in Pwllheli waiting for the weather to improve before continuing with the circumnavigation of Britain. Saw this year's first swallows near Trefor.

June Geifr mynydd - Trefor - mountain goats 15th - Saw this lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) on the shore at Brynsiencyn, Anglesey. It has a severe sting. |
Gorffennaf Eurofighter Typhoon - Carreg-y-Defaid a Phwllheli 2ail - Dechrau gwyl Wakestock. Hedfanodd yr awyren hon dros Benrhos. 5ed - Tua 50 sglefren fôr (Cyanea capillata) wedi dod i'r lan ym Meaumaris. 12ed - "Morning Cloud II," cwch hwyliau y cyn brifwenidog, Edward Heath yn cael ei thwyo gan fad achub Pwllheli wedi iddi ddechrau gollwng oddi ar Ynysoedd Tudwal. Ennillodd yr Admiralty Cup yn 1971. Râs Honda 16eg - Wedi chwythu'n galed drwy'r nos, Force 10. Llawer o goed wedi disgyn a chychod wedi eu difrodi. Roedd yr oen hwn wedi disgyn i gafn dŵr ger Tyddyn Caled rhwng Pwllheli a Llanbedrog. Llwyddais i'w dynnu allan a daeth ato ei hyn ar ôl ychydig. 19eg - 80 sglefren fôr Aurelia aurita ar y traeth rhwng Llanbedrog a Charreg-y-Defaid. |

July Eurofighter Typhoon - Penrhos 2nd - Start of Wakestock festival. This aircraft flew over Penrhos. 5th - About 50 lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) had come ashore at Beaumaris. 12th - Edward Heath's yacht "Morning Cloud II," was towed back to Pwllheli by Pwllheli lifeboat after taking in water off St Tudwal's Islands. She won the Admiralty Cup in 1971.
Honda powerboat race 16th - Storm Force 10 winds during the night. Many trees down and boats damaged. This lamb had fallen into a water trough near Tyddyn Caled, between Llanbedrog and Pwllheli. I managed to drag it out and it recovered after a while. 19th - 80 common / moon jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) ashore between Llanbedrog and Carreg-y-Defaid. |
Awst 21ain - Daeth morfil pigfain (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) tua 21 troedfedd o hyd i'r lan ar Drwyn Penychain. Mae'r morfil pigfain yn tyfu hyd at 25 - 30 troedfedd. Maent yn bwydo drwy ridyllu dŵr y môr er mwyn hidlo plancton a physgod bychain. Daeth morfil pigfain llai i'r lan ger Afonwen yn 2007. |
Morfil pigfain / Minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) Penychain

August 21st - A 21ft minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) came ashore at Penychain. Minke whales grow to about 25 - 30ft. They feed by sieveing through ocean water to filter plankton and small fish. A smaller minke whale came ashore near Afonwen in 2007. |
Medi 26ain - Penwythos hedfan Clwb Modelau Awyr Llŷn Galwodd Stelios Haji-Ioannou i edrych a wnaiff Penrhos y tro ar gyfer awyrennau Easy Jet. Roedd Heddlu Gogledd Cymru yno hefyd. 29ain - Mae cryn dipyn o'r madarch gwenwynig, amanita'r pryfed, wedi ymddangos eleni.

September 26th - Llŷn Model Aero Club's Bring & Fly weekend. Stelios Haji-Ioannou drops in to check Penrhos's potential as an Easy Jet destination. North Wales Police also put in an appearance. 29th - The poisonous fly agaric fungus has been abundant this year.

Rhwyd draeth - Aberdaron - Beach net 5ed - Rhwydo ar draeth Aberdaron. Gwrachen / Wrasse 7ed - Rhwyd draeth anghyfreithlon ar y lan o dan Bach Wen, Clynnog Fawr. Nid oedd i gael ei gosod yma yr adeg hon o'r flwyddyn ac nid oedd bwi na marc adnabod arni. 18ed - Achubwyd gwr a oedd wedi mynd i drafferthion yn ei gayak gan fâd achub Beaumaris. Bâd achub - Beaumaris - Inshore lifeboat 31ain - Gwelsom y morlo llwyd marw llawn cynrhon hwn ar draeth Llanbedrog

October 2nd - Several barrel jellyfish (Rhizostoma octopus) had come ashore on Hell's Mouth beach. Kite surfing, Hell's Mouth 4th - Dead seal on the shore at Aberdesach. Draenog y môr / Bass 5th - Netting on the beach at Aberdaron. Draenogiaid / Bass 7th - Illegal beach net on the shore below Bach Wen, Clynnog Fawr. It should not have been set here at this time of year and had no buoys or identifying marks. 18th - Beaumaris lifeboat rescued a kayaker who had got into difficulties. Bâd achub - Beaumaris - Inshore lifeboat 31st - Saw this dead maggot infested grey seal on Llanbedrog beach.

Tachwedd 7ed - Eira cyntaf y gaeaf ar Yr Wyddfa. Gwelais yr egret hwn yn harbwr Abersoch. Academus Cychod traillrwydo cregyn bylchog (Pecten maximus) yn dadlwytho ym Mhwllheli.

November 7th - First snow of the winter on Snowdon. I saw this egret in Abersoch harbour. Dadlwytho - Academus - Unloading King scallop (Pecten maximus) dredgers unloading at Pwllheli.

Rhagfyr 5ed - Eira wedi disgyn. 7ed - Daeth olion y "Fossil" i'r wyneb ar Draeth Castellmarch ac roedd i'w gweld ar y trai. Smac 38 tunnell a adeiladwyd ym Mhwllheli yn 1851 ydoedd. David Davies oedd ei pherchennog ac fe'i collwyd ar Draeth Castellmarch 14eg Hydref, 1902. |
"Fossil"

December 5th - Snowfall. 7th - The remains of the "Fossil" have appeared on Castellmarch Beach and were visible at low water. "Fossil" was a 38 ton smack built at Pwllheli in 1851. She was owned by David Davies and wrecked on the Castellmarch/Warren beach, on 14th October, 1902. |
